A compilation of my architectural work, presenting selected projects that demonstrate design development, technical skills, and spatial planning.
As an architecture student, I see design as more than just creating spaces—it’s about
shaping experiences, emotions, and connections within people. My passion lies in exploring the
intersection of functionality and aesthetics, where architecture becomes a dialogue between
people and their surroundings. I am deeply fascinated by sustainable design, innovative materials,
and the way architecture can respond to social, economical, and environmental challenges.

My ambition is to contribute to the future of architecture by creating spaces that are
meaningful, sustainable, and deeply rooted in human experience. This portfolio is a reflection
of my evolving design philosophy, showcasing projects that embody my passion, creativity, and
dedication to the art and science of architecture.

A Modern woodscape that redefines urban living by seamlessly blending contemporary design with the inherent warmth and connection of natural materials. This townhouse concept, characterized by its sharp, angular rooflines and sophisticated dark palette, presents a striking example of modern wood architecture integrated into an urban slope.

At the heart of the design is the concept of biophillia - the human inclination to connect with nature. This philosophy is executed through the extensive use of natural, visible materials. The dark, ribbed siding provides a bold, modern backdrop, allowing the rich, warm tones of the timber paneling and window surrounds to truly stand out. This deliberate material contrast creates visual depth and emphasizes the individual dwelling units while echoing a "woodsy" aesthetic that is both comforting and architecturally cutting-edge.

The Heart of the Hive (H.O.H) is a multi-family cohousing project designed to foster collective living while respecting the needs of individual privacy, accessibility, and environmental responsibilty.
Inspired by the structural logic and social behavior of bees, the project takes cues from the hive as both a metaphor and an organizing principle. In the same way that bees rely on spatially ordered system to support communal lift, this design adopts a centralized layout which the most intimate, connective experiences occur in the heart, while more public, resource-based functions line the periphery.

The Heart of the Hive is more than just a residential building - it is a model for how urban housing can be socially, environmentally, and emotionally sustainable. It proposes an architecture that nurtures connection and evolves with its residents over time. By learning from nature and designing with intention, this project seeks to transform the way we live together in cities.

The Apollo Music Library draws its inspiration from the rich cultural diversity of the Albany Park area. Through an in-depth demographic analysis, it was determined that a dedicated music library would be a valuable asset to the community. The architectural design reflects this vision, incorporating dynamic rotating slates that not only enhance the external facade but also function as integral structural support elements.

At the heart of the library, the central atrium features an interplay of external slates that appear to pierce through the roof, supporting an undulating ceiling installation designed to emulate the fluidity of sound waves.

The third floor is dedicated to musical showcases and professional recording. A striking cantilevered volume, referred to as the "bird box," extends over the eastern facade, creative a dynamic performance space.
